How it works

Monitoring, live in three steps

No scrapers to build, no dashboard to learn. Create an API key, add the products and pages you want to watch, and start getting email and Telegram alerts the moment something changes.

  3. 3Get alerts & data
1

Create an API key

Sign up on the free plan and connect in minutes.

Create an account and generate an API key. TrackBase is API-first, so your applications talk to it directly — there's no dashboard to learn and no scraping infrastructure to build.

  • Free plan, no credit card
  • API keys you can revoke anytime
  • Secured by JWT sign-in
  • No scraping infrastructure to manage
2

Add products, sources & monitors

Tell TrackBase what to watch — all via the REST API.

Add the products you track, link competitor sources for price comparison, and set up recurring monitors on the pages you care about. Scrape single pages or crawl across a site up to your plan's limit.

  • Track products & competitor sources
  • Recurring monitors on any page
  • Scrape, extract & crawl
  • JavaScript pages on Pro and above
3

Get alerts & data

React the moment something changes.

TrackBase checks on the schedule you choose, records price history, and alerts you by email or Telegram on undercuts, content changes, and monitoring-health issues. Push events to your webhook or pull data over the API.

  • Email & Telegram alerts
  • Undercut & content-change detection
  • Webhooks for your systems
  • Price history & CSV/Excel export

After setup

Once you're live, TrackBase runs continuously

It checks on your plan's schedule, records history, and turns every meaningful change into an alert or an event in your systems.

  • A live price history

Every scheduled check records the price, building a history for each product and competitor you track.

  • Alerts that reach the right person

Undercuts, content changes, and monitoring-health issues delivered by email and Telegram — or pushed to your webhook.

  • Data in your own systems

Pull structured data and events over the REST API, or export extraction results as CSV or Excel.

Setup FAQ

How setup works

How long does it take to set up monitoring?

You can be running in minutes: create an account, generate an API key, and add your first monitor via the REST API. There's no scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.

Do I need technical skills to get started?

TrackBase is API-first, so getting the most from it means calling the REST API. It's straightforward for any developer, and the documentation walks through each step — creating monitors, linking competitor sources, and receiving alerts.

How does TrackBase track my competitors?

You link competitor sources — the URLs you want to compare against — to the products you track. TrackBase checks them on a recurring schedule, compares prices, and keeps a history. JavaScript-rendered pages are supported on Pro and above.

How quickly will I be alerted when a price changes?

As soon as a scheduled check detects a change. You choose how often checks run — it isn't gated by plan, and more frequent checks simply use more credits — so you react far faster than any manual process.

Does TrackBase have a dashboard?

Not yet. TrackBase is accessed through its REST API today, and a customer-facing web dashboard is on the roadmap. Alerts are delivered by email and Telegram, and change events can be pushed to your webhook.
